Every aspect of the anti-capitalist world is covered in this helpful guide, from WOMBLES to Zapatistas, NGOs to environmentalism, Paris 1968 to Seattle, and beyond. Picking up where Naomi Klein left off, this is not so much a manifesto as a roadmap, which captures the essence of the movement, and also articulates a range of possibilities for future alternatives to the corporate domination of our planet.

Quotes about:

I love this book. An accessible, thoughtful, provocative and hopeful guide which demystifies global anti-capitalist politics in the early 21st century. In clear but not at all simplistic terms, [Tormey] provides a theoretically and historically informed analysis of the tensions and possibilities which animate this 'movement of movements.' A rewarding read for 'beginners' of all levels of experience. -- Mark Rupert, Professor of Political Science

This book is a winner. -- Terrell Carver, Professor of Political Theory, Bristol University, UK

I strongly support this book ... it is a good critical (or self-critical) guide to the movement; exactly what is needed at its current stage. -- Boris Kagarlitsky, Director, Institute of Globalization Studies, Moscow

A useful account of the failure of hyper-capitalism, and of those who oppose it. -- Paul Kingsnorth, author of One No, Many Yeses
